The ivory colored layers of the larger Ostrich egg shells are not so clearly defined, but since they are larger and thicker, there is even more shell to ‘sculpt’. I also make these eggs into lights. Sometimes I accentuate the artwork by carving through the egg shell. The result is a striking three dimensional, realistic effect completely different from the emu egg shell.

In Addition, I’ve created the suncatchers so the sun light can 'do the work' as you hang my artwork in a window of your home.

As you can imagine, these unusual 'objects de art' are fast becoming very collectible. Neither words nor pictures can describe the magical beauty of these unique creations.
